First Baptist Church of Beaver has been serving as a lighthouse
to the community for over eighty years and we pray this will continue well into the 21st century.
The church was founded November 29, 1916. For many years the church shared
a building with the Methodists. The church building was known as the Beaver Community Church.
In 1951, the Baptists bought the Methodists share of the building
and began major rennovations. Since that time, various rennovations have been made to the structure, but the mission
of the church has always remained the same- sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with Beaver.
In 1991, the church was blessed with the addition of a multi-purpose building we
call the Christian Life Center (CLC). This building is used for the youth, for dinners, and for community functions.
